THE UNIONS ARE COMING! THE UNIONS ARE COMING!
Thanks to the Ambush Election Rule, you only have 3 weeks to defend yourself.
If one is by land and two is by sea, how many lanterns signaled a liberty take-over by a union? Now more than ever, employers across the country need a ‘Paul Revere’ to warn them of the impending attack on their very livelihood because of the new NLRB ambush election rules.
It’s highly unlikely they are donned in red coats, but their attack on capitalism is being aided by an Obama-appointed National Labor Relations Board. Unions are coming and they are on the attack. Employers napping at their post will find themselves at the frontline of a losing effort.
April 14, 2015 was the start of the all-out war on free enterprise in America. On this day the NLRB’s Ambush Election Rule took effect. The rule reduces the election process timetable. This significantly curtails the amount of time an Employer has to take action prior to a unionization vote.
Protesting Pro-Business groups argued that this decision handed union organizations a gross imbalance of strategical leverage. Recently released statistics show the average election times have fallen 40% since the new rule became effective.
Unions already have the advantage of preparing for weeks, months, and sometimes even years to make their case to employees before filing a petition. The Ambush Election Rule has strengthened the union’s position by limiting employers to approximately three (3) weeks to present facts, dispel mistruths, and make the case to remain an open shop.
This ruling is undeniably in favor of pro-labor. Obama’s NLRB has thrown Big Labor a lifeline by unfairly prejudicing the process against employers and against employee free-choice.
